Founder & Therapist She/Her/Hers

Hi, I’m Julia Waldron, LCSW

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Connecticut, and I’m really glad you’re here. I have experience across a range of settings, including school social work, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient therapy. I work with individuals ages 18 and older.

As an openly LGBTQIA+ clinician, I understand both professionally and personally the complexities, strengths, and resilience within our community. I aim to create a space where clients feel safe to explore their identities, process past experiences, and build lives that feel authentic and meaningful. Being out allows me to show up fully and foster connection rooted in trust, understanding, and respect.

My approach is clinically grounded and human. I draw from DBT, mindfulness, and expressive therapies, but my work is centered on each person’s needs, goals, and lived experience. At the center of our work is you, what you’re experiencing, what matters to you, and what helps you move forward in real life.

I believe therapy works best as a collaborative process. Together, we’ll explore the underlying causes of your challenges, identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, and develop practical tools and coping strategies that feel manageable and meaningful in your daily life.

My goal is not only to help you gain insight, but to support you in building a life that feels more connected, balanced, and aligned with who you are. I deeply respect the vulnerability it takes to begin therapy, and it is a privilege to witness the resilience and growth of the people I work with. I would be honored to be part of your process.
